Yesterday saw the selection of the East Kent U13s squad and it was great news for Thanet Wanderers RUFC's youngest junior side as six players made the squad of 30 for the district side. The successful players were distributed across all positions with front rowers Giotto McCourt-Welsh and Riley Marshall being joined by number 8, Joey Rigden in the forwards. Half backs Ben Mills and Jack Cave joiined them and centre Ziggy Lee made up the half dozen. Congratulations to all those players on their selection for East Kent U13 district squad which was in the face of some fierce competition in all positions. This comes after 4 players, Sonny Teall, Harrison Leach, Jack Cohen and James Crompton made the Kent squad earlier in the month making a total of 10 players playing representative U13s rugby.
