It is the final match of the year for the first XV who travel to Maidstone for the first reverse fixture of the season. Wanderers performance in the home game on a sunny September day was not memorable and they lost 22-18 but will be aiming to continue their recent improvement against a Maidstone side who are currently in tenth place in London 2 South, five points behind Wanderers in ninth. The 2s also playing at Maidstone and the 3s are away at Ashford and will be hoping to replicate the two good wins of their home fixtures. So there will be NO RUGBY at Saint Peters on Saturday afternoon but the annual Christmas jumper social evening is ON and will start in earnest as soon as the players’ coach returns.
So why not have a few hours off from Christmas shopping and join the growing band of supporters whose support has been key for the Wanderers this season particularly on the road.
