On the 30th June Thanet Wanderers are holding a Community Sports Fun Day at their club at Callis Court Road, St. Peter’s Broadstairs CT10 3AE. The purpose of the day is for the club to embrace the community and for the community to engage with the club and its members.
The event will be open to all ages from under 6 to 100 and both males and females are welcome to take part. Participants will need to register at the club from 11.00am onwards on the day of the event and will then be arranged into age groups and then allocated into one of three mixed age group teams who will compete in up to 8 events including an obstacle race, touch rugby, Kicking King, Pass Master, Slip and Slide among others. Spot prizes will be awarded throughout the day and parents will be encouraged to compete alongside their children.
Refreshments will be available to buy from the clubhouse.
