The junior and mini sections take centre stage next Sunday 17th September between 10am and 1PM for the Community Open Day. For existing players and their coaches this is an opportunity to enjoy a fun morning and learn of the new challenges ahead. The morning is also an ideal time for parents to bring along their girls and boys who are interested in playing rugby. There is no initial commitment, newcomers are able to join in a few Sunday morning training sessions before registering with the club. There will be an inflatable pitch and our fully qualified coaches and some senior players will be on hand for advice or to point you in the right direction. Have a look round our excellent facilites and enjoy a hot drink or perhaps something stronger from 12 o'clock. So as the poster says just turn up and, 'Give it a try' Senior potential players or returners are equally welcome to attend or feel free to turn up for training sessions on Tuesday or Thursday evenings or why not come and have a look on match-day Saturdays. The club runs three senior sides and the second team is at home this Saturday against Medway(KO 3PM). The first team play away at Sheppey and the threes have a revised kick off time of 2.30 at Ashford Barbarians. Touch rugby is open to all ages and is growing in popularity, there is a growing number attending on Tuesday evenings. An excellent way to just keep fit or to aim for higher levels in this expanding sport. A full list of contacts is on the club website so please be in touch if you require more detail.
