After a heart stopping semi final Wanderers scored a converted try in the final minute of the match to come from behind and win 7-3 v Beccehamians The post from one of their parents, Max Lipka, on Facebook sums up what was clearly a most memorable morning. Congratulatiions to the players, coaches and parents for bringing more credit to the club @ Thanet wanderers, As a parent, player blah blah.... I would like to thank you as a club for the fine conduct shown by your U15 players, coaches and parents....Before, during and after the game! Honestly could of gone either way, and I'm sure you will agree that true Rugby spirit prevailed today from all involved, and for that, from one Family Club to another, we Beccehamians RFC salute you..... And wish you all the very best in the final. Great set of lads. The boys will now aim to defend their Kent Cup title when they play Dartfordians, who won a close semi final v Sevenoaks. The game will be played at Ashford on Sunday next with a 10am Kick off.
