U13s win first round of East Kent Tournament

Thanet U13s travelled to Ashford to take part in the first round of a new triangular East Kent tournament. The squad were confident on the back of strong wins against Whitstable and Canterbury the previous two weeks. Thanet were comfortable winners in both their matches, beating Deal 3-0 and Ashford 7-1, only conceding a try at the final whistle of the last game. Throughout the morning, they played quality rugby with the forwards carrying well and making space for the backs to exploit. They now go through to the finals round of the tournament as group winners and will face the winners of the other two groups later this month. Congratulations to the boys who played on the day but also to the entire squad who have all worked hard this season. It's noticeable how much quality and potential there is within the squad and how much everyone is contributing.
