Beckenham kicked off, but Thanet wasted no time asserting themselves. Neave Evan’s powerful early carry set the tone, driving deep into the home side’s territory. Sustained attacking pressure followed through Ella Thurman-Newell, Rebecca Dixon, Sorcha Maddison, and Helen Hollinsworth, before Gee Cordell broke from the base and linked beautifully with Amy Fowler who dived over in the corner for the opening score.

Beckenham responded with a try of their own, but Thanet hit back quickly, Neave Evans charging over in the corner for her first of three tries on the day, with Tabs Raymonde adding the conversion to make it 12–5. Soon after, Chloe Siddall and Tabs Raymonde combined brilliantly down the right flank, with Tabs Raymonde finishing off the move to extend the lead to 17–5.

The rain began to fall heavily, but it didn’t slow Thanet’s momentum As Thanet’s forwards took control, The front row led by Emily Williams was outstanding, their dominant scrummaging gave wanderers a solid platform throughout. Vicky Flower and Rebecca Hewitt were relentless in contact carrying hard and leading the defensive line.  Beckenham crossed again, but Wanderers kept their composure. A fine team move involving Sophia Richardson, Neave Evans, and Tabs Raymonde ended with Neave Evans touching down for her second, Tabs Raymonde converting for 24–10. Moments later, Gee Cordell broke free from deep, showing pace and strength to score under the posts. Tabs Raymonde adding the extras for a 31–10 halftime lead.
