The U18s Kent trials for girls took place on Sunday 29th October 2023 at Dartford Valley RFC and four of our girls took part and did themselves proud.
Tilia Elliston, Izzy Lodge, Mabel Walton and Lia Armstrong (not pictured) took part in a series of sessions including tackle, catch / pass, touch games and fitness and all performed well, came through unscathed and stand a good chance of getting in.
In the same set-up to last year, the U18s consists of girls from years 13 and 12, around 70 girls took part with the selectors putting together a squad of around 30-35.
The girls should hear back this week whether they have got in and if they do will take part in matches against neighbouring counties between November and January 2024.
