A chilly but worthwhile training session for the under 12s on Sunday has set out the stall for the rest of the season. With mixed results over the past few months, head coach Glenn Leach has asked for improved commitment and communication from the boys and they responded superbly on Sunday. Three sessions were put together by the coaching team focusing on hitting the ball at pace, tackling and mauling. The session ended with 30 minutes of full contact and a hard fought 3-3 draw in which all the elements came together nicely. Next week sees the visit of Whitstable when the learning will be put to the test against real opposition. Thanks to Derrick Welsh for the photo.
